On September 20, in commemoration of World Cleanup Day, Hotel Zuana Beach Resort reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and the protection of the marine ecosystem by leading a large beach cleanup initiative (“Playatón”) on its beach concessioned by DIMAR and certified with the international environmental eco-label Blue Flag.

During this activity, hotel staff, public service company representatives, and students from nearby communities joined enthusiastically. A total of 22 volunteers, united by a common purpose, collected 34.2 kg of waste that had accumulated on the beach, restoring life and beauty to our coastline.

More than just a cleanup activity, it was an act of awareness and love for the ocean, where we demonstrated that small collective actions can generate a significant impact on the conservation of our natural resources.

With this initiative, Zuana reinforces its leadership as a sustainable hotel, a pioneer in Colombia, inspiring the community and the tourism sector by proudly protecting the environmental heritage we share.
